Battery Question

I recently got my Refurbished canon T1i (got a great deal with accerasories so i went with this instead of the t2i) and found that the battery did not come with the protective cover..... When i don't have the battery in the camera how should i store it.... thanks

you should be fine to just store it in ur camera bag, i dont really think u need ur battery cover.

i never put them back on my t2i, well i do sometimes so i know whats dead or not because i have a few, but you'll be just fine. you don't need a case to transport AA's do you?
