Battery dies in 10 min or less. ++++K

hey so i bought a ag dvx100 p used a few weeks ago and havnt really gotten a chance to use it yet. i went to my local hill the other day to do some filming and the battery just died in less than 10 min. so i put the other battery in and it did the same thing. so i charged them when i got home and tryed it again. but they did the same thing. are the batterys shot or is there something wrong with the camera or connection or something? id like to know before i go and spend money on a new battery.

Sounds like its your batteries. You can buy cheap shitty ones from ebay for 20 bucks, they'll last probably 2-3 hours in a dvx (they last 1-2 hrs in my hvx) or you could buy a legit from from panasonic for 120 that'll last like 10 hours, up to you.

IDK what it like for this particular camera, but one of my friends bought a shitty ebay batter for his D50 and It blew it up, its totally wrecked

the 3rd party battery on pani cameras is legit, i bought one and said fucked it for my hvx because it sucks batts, the dvx uses like 1/3 of the batt of the hvx so the 3rd party batt should be pretty nice.
