the amazing little hill just north of trenton is hosting its first (in mannnnnnnnnnny years) competition..

not to sure of the specs... i believe it is a big air /rail jam

set for the 17th of march..

great little comp to hang out with friends and chill after the triple challenge.

either way cheap entries, lots of fun and an oldschool NS reunion..

you know who you are and if you dont and want to come join in the reckus, come!!!

i have a huge house for everyone to crash at on the way to battawa,

come make NS proud by having a huge turnout to a hill that will host some of the best events to come in the next few years.. (if you havent heard blue's main guy is now GM at battawa)

COME!

Hey Crystal......just may have to stop by if I can....

See how the little club that could is doing...

Good luck with it if I don't see you there...

thanks gordon.

its not my event but i am trying to help promote it.

should be a blast. and great prizes

myles aint shit hahahaha....i dunno this is the first i have hurd of a comp but this year they had all new snowmaking installed...im pretty sure they dropped a couple hundred grand on it...denver kamink and taylor nicholas the two guys who won the dag. slopestyle ski there still...they know their stuff so it should be set up well.....p.s. myles if ur reading this...u aint shit...

no one has heard of this resort yet... its been a down and out ski hill for years until the owner of the property reclaimed it and invested time and money into the hill.

this is a first time evnt for batawa and dont even think for a second that next year it wont be competing for top events like the ones hosted at blue and louis..

its going to be blast and a very chill day. but battawa needs some support from us skiers to show that the industry is backing the hill too.

come out or be square! hahaha

Whoever couldnt make it out to this, and there were deffinatly a few of you, you missed a pretty goood time. The setup was really solid for such a small venue. Thanks to everyone who helped put it on.

The only downfall was the "by round of applause" judging system, not a cool way to judge a rail jam.

yes it was an awesome comp.

everyone (other than myself) had someone of equal calibre to compete against. EVERYONE improved over the course of the day. and i ahvent seen so many young rippers come out to a comp before..

no girls tho.. thats a shame.

and yes the vote by the crowd wasnt the greatest. but... we didnt have alot of competitors and everyone walked away with something. the prizes and money was distributed fairly and i thought really well.. i didnt win and money but i won my shoes back and hell i was happy.

next year's competitions can only mean bigger and better. and yes we all discussed the voting after the comp and agreed it should be changed for the future..

i hope people dont think badly of battawa because of it. i thought the prizes being dished out and the cash was a great way of getting everyone a piece of the action.

next year will have more rails, better rails and a much better layout. but honestly.. whos complaining. it was a blast!!

thanks gordon.. i was the only girl. and i can never tell if pipe munkey is rob or paul but either of you should know me well enough to shut up, grow up and act your ages on this site.
