Bats in my house....

yea...we have like three of them flying around and its a little creepy....we opened all the windows and my parents are decked out in leather gloves are running around with fishing nets trying to catch them....last night one came in my room and was flying over my head and my cat attacked it and we are hoping he doesnt get sick

We think they nest in our roof in the summer and becuase its getting colder they are coming in where it's warm. They aren't going out the windows are just kind of chilling in the logs....we are having a lot of trouble getting rid of them....anyone have any good tricks for catching bats???.....my mom called some place and asked them and they said to just open the windows and make sure it doesnt touch or bite you becuase of diseases....anyone know anything we can do to prevent them from coming in???
 
dont lend much help here but i do know that when theyre flying and you clap your hands they change direction sharply. sooooo you could try that and hope they fly into a wall and k.o them selves that would be pretty easy to get them out from there.
 
ummmm.....i dont think so brosive...

anymore REAL ideas? becuase the whole fishing net thing is unsuccessful thus far....and that bats are still flying around...one just hit my door...
 
hmmm i could see that working....

but the bats are in the rafters for the most part...except when we are waving nets at them and then they come down shortly and run into things...and then go back up into the rafters where a vacuum cleaner wouldnt be able to reach.....and we dont have a shop vac.....argh
 
My grandparents have bats living in there house, but by law they cant remove them because their an endangered species of bats, we did find afew mumified bats in the roof, its sick.
 
we ran around with brooms, listening to screamo...Beat the crap out of em till they get too dizy, and then put em in a box...GET A CLEAR BOX!!! and then they sit there and like friggin bear their teeth and shit...way freaky
 
victory!! this morning i stood on my counter and waved around the fishing net and caught them. they were actually kind of cute when they weren't flying around and freaking out and just chillin inside the net. i am a little dissapointed that i wasnt able to pull off the whole vacuum idea. it would have been amusing.....maybe next time.
 
We had one in our house. I was chilling in my room and my mom starts screaming...i thought she like, fell and got hurt or something. Turns out she slapped a bat to the ground with a broom. Got a bucket and let the little guy go. The bat was so dazed lol.
