kings/tpups is the only real series worth watching as far as i am concerned. the rest are either going to be sweeps, or near sweeps, or they are boring defensive games... i was pleasently supprised when the nets decided to show up today and run the break a bit... made it less excruciating to watch.

the twolves can't stop brad miller and vlade. they will put garnett on cwebb, and brad miller will have wreak havoc on them. then, christie is on spreewell = shut down. finally, the way bibby is playing he cancels out whatever cassell does on offense, because samIam cannot play d at all. the kings are way more of a complete team. too much for the overrated twolves too handle.

^brad miller vlade and cwebb are never in at the same time. and if they were the twovles would kill them from the perimeter. ervin johnson can stop whoevers at center. and i would just like to point out cwebb is the most overrated player in the nba

 
kill them from the perimeter huh. if you knew anything about basketball, then you would know that you should take the advantage on the inside over a perimeter attack. which would you rather take, an open shot in the key and layups, or an open shot from 20 feet. there's no question. and quite simply, the twolves don't have the shooters to beet a team that way, because all a team has to do is concentrate on sam out there. the kings will put christie on spree, and he will do nothing, because he is a pure slasher with no perimeter game, so christie can just play back off him a little and spree will never get by. sam and bibby are a push. then you have the webb/miller/vlade combo versus garnett/scrubs combo. then, you have remember, the kings won without getting production from peja. he will not shot badly many times again, if ever. it will take four games of garnett scoring like 50 for the twolves to win the series, and I highly doubt that will happen.

i know a tab bit about basketball kid. garnett was getting triple teamed on the post last game. i know because i was fucking there. garnett would dish it out and they had a open jumper. the only reason they lost is because they couldnt hit their jumpers. vlade cwebb and miller were never once in at the same time. and if they were to go in at the same time spree, sam, or even trenton hassel could go to the basket on miller or vlades slow asses and score. oh yeah and kg will have a hell of a game tonight. he had a sub par game with 16 18 and 7 and has never repeated a sub par game.

on top of all of this the kings only played seven players. they will not be able to play to that level for consecutive games. a.p. was lucky and nobody else can do shit off the bench. ill give the kings they have a good starting lineup but so do the wolves. wolves have a deeper bench and thats going to be a big part of the series.l

 
oh eyah and garnett spree and sam accounted for around 70 points a game this season. theres your production right there

 
and just one more thing is that you call the wolves overrated but they kicked the kings ass in the regular season. just in case you forgot

why would the refs call body checking garnett posting up bibby. thats like asking the refs call a travel on shaq. or saying the would call the foul on vlade posting up fred hoiberg.

 
i'm talking about bibby driving to the lane and garnett step up and throws a pelvic thrust into mike while he trys a finger roll and garnett swats the shot, meanwhile, bibby flies out of the key in a completely opposite direction than he was propelling himself in

boo hoo that happend to spree and sam as well. do you really expect the refs to call it in the playoffs? and the timberwolves had more fouls called on them than the kings

 
its not the number of fouls so much as when they occur (or dont occur) how about the phantom lane violation on miller, only then not call the violation on hoiberg on sprees missed free throws. that combined with the phantom foul on miller that sent garnett to the line for the go ahead free throws... the refs must have really listened to flip saunders complaining about the officiating in game one. (a la phil jackson) and they decided to sign, seal, deliver (if i may quote steavie wonder) game two for the t pups. granted, with a few less misses from the line the kings could have still won, but what can you do? we got a split, anything else would have just been a bonus.

hoibergs wasnt a lane violation in the nba. you are aloud to go in for the board after the release of the ball unless you are shooting. it was clear as day that miller was in the lane before the ball hit the rim when he was shooting.

there were numerous non calls for both teams and overall the refing was fair. when cassell got the tech that should have been a foul on doug christie.

Kings all the way on this one. I agree that a win is a win but the twolves did chokce a 15 point lead in under 2.5 minutes. also how about fucking cassel getting 4 fouls in what 2 minutes? the kings made an incredible come back but choked on their free throws that could have won them the game.

the kings will win tonight, they wont lose two straight at arco. if peja and bibby blow up then the twolves dont stand a chance. garrnet does he normal MVP thing and cassel will do whatever but if the kings play like the should then they cant be beat. we also really need bobby jackson back

viper the finished it off in ot though so it doesnt matter.

i think that kobe needs to have a court case before every game. he scores like 40 everytime he plays right after one.
