I have this rail I made that has these boltson it to ancor things together. I ran over these bolts and made a pinky nail sized gouge and a five inch long 'slice' in the base. Can I fix it.

OMG!!! are you kidding.... what is p-tex. have you ever tuned your own stuff, have you ever wondered how gouges were fixed in shops? they use p-tex, you melt it into the gouge and scrape it flat when it cools and drys. seriously......

Titanya: But Duff Man, you said if I slept with you I wouldn't have to touch the drink!

Duff Man: Duff Man... says a lot of things! Oh, yeah!

OMG! ^fuck off! I don't see why anyone should know unless they've needed to ptex their own bases.

you can get ptex anywhere you can buy wax....local ski shop, rei, outdoor store, etc.

as for a base weld, do it yourself with slow curing epoxy. Then score the top really good with a knife after it cures and melt ptex into the hole. use a scraper to make it smooth to the base. job done.
