One reason baseball is better than hockey: the hot chicks. There is no place with more hot chicks than an A's game on wednesday or friday nights. The hotness percentage was like 75% tonight. Never gonna get that at a hockey game. Forget the mall, cruise for chicks at a baseball game.

baseball's cool and fun to play, but i can't watch it that much. hockey...more injuries and seems like more continuous play. if baseball was maybe faster it'd be cooler...like instead of tagging the guy you should be able to hit the guy w/the ball...just whip it at his face. although i must say, getting hit in the face w/a baseball when you're the pitcher's gotta hurt like a bitch.

And the Dodgers are tied with the Mariners with the best record in baseball, first place, 3 games ahead of the D-backs, and still kicking bootie!!

all you non-baseball lovers out there can suck it, baseball is the perfect mix of individual and team prowess and it is the smartest sport. I can watch baseball almost as much as I like watching Propaganda, skiing beats all, but as far as team sports go its baseball all the way, and as far as baseball goes, its the red sox all the way, and as far as the red sox go, its nomar all the way.

Hockey is so much better than baseball!!! I like fall asleep when i watch baseball, cause its so slow.. And o yeah, there are so many hott chicks at hockey games, cause they all love hockey players

 
i'm torn. I like both equaly. Only bad thing about hockey is that you can't trip ppl w/ your stick, i mean what the hell? i was always called on that when i played. And then in Baseball i broke my nose cause i wasn't watching the ball and it hit me dead on the middle of my face. Ouch. hehe.

Red Sox RULE!!! Baseball is my favorite team sport, and the Sox are king... I know they can take back the AL lead again... fucking yanks.

how can you even put baseball in the samecategory, baseball should be in the same category with cricket and curling... i wont disagree with the hot chicks tho, that would be about the only reason i would ever go to a baseball game tho

 
Dude, have you ever tried curling? It's WAY better than baseball! It's a beer drinkers game. It's so strategic, so precise, and so much fun, then you go get drunk and play again.

anyone who doesnt like baseball either hasnt watched/played enough or is very very stupid, its only boring if you dont know whats goin on. its not just some guy throwing a ball at some other guy, its the difference between a curve ball and a slider, what part of the plate the hitter can wail em at and what the count is, and you cant say that some of these fielding plays you see arent impressive as hell. I guess your entitled to your opion but if its as dumb and unfounded as saying baseball and cricket are equal then please keep it off newschoolers.

Although, I'm not a big baseball fan, I agree with you, however, you seem to be doggin' on cricket for the same reasons that people don't like baseball. You say that people don't like baseball because we don't understand it, but then you go on to say that baseball isn't as BAD as cricket even though you (probably) don't know everything about cricket.

For all you know, if you learned all the ins and outs of cricket it may be the greatest sport ever.

and hockey is fun because its entertaining live and on tv. and you all know the joke about why canadians do it doggie style...

baseball is way better then hockey. i also props to the A's. they are like 18 and 2 in interleague play.

My own OPINION. I can't stand baseball. Yeah, theres a lot of strategy. But that is whats boring to me. The only baseball I'm willing to watch is ESPN sportscenter highlights. I like hockey because it's fast paced, aggresive, and physical.
