Baseball players get paid so much to do nothing. They make the play, and then they stand around spitting and shuffling their feet. It has got to be the most boring sport to watch, though it's ok if you're playing.

Baseball is the kind of thing that's boring to someone who doesn't follow it closely, but it you actually follow it and keep track of your teams/players it's much much more interesting.

lax in the olympics would be sick, but baseball isnt even really a sport to me. theres barely any physical aspect to it (besides hitting the ball and running 90 feet at a time). its more of a game to me, not a sport. a sport needs physical aspects and technical aspects to it, baseball to me just doenst follow those.

How isn't a sport? there is a physical aspect, some baseball players are some of the most gifted athletes in the world. Would you like to be a catcher standing in front of a runner who is trying get to what your protecting, and remember this runner is 6' 260lbs. running full speed, I wouldn't.

you still havent made a point to physical apsect. what i mean by physical aspect is strength, and the only strength is hitting the ball and throwing the ball, and i dont think that makes it enough to be a true sport.

That's because the US is pretty much the only country that plays baseball. (ok, maybe japan and the Dominican too.)

 
They should definately put Rugby back in the Olympics. It was there a long long time ago, but then they took it out. And they should also make it full 15s, not 7s.

First off rugby IS a much more universaly played sport, and is more ''sportlike'' than baseball any way you look at it. Also, you are all stupid, baseball was not taken out because its wasnt considered a sport, there are many other reasons why these sports where taken out, for example none of the MLB athletes went to the olypmics, there has also been many steroid problems within baseball.

I don't mind baseball being out of the olympics, but whoever said it is more universal than Rugby is just thick. Rugby is everywhere, dumbass.

Whoever said synchronized diving shouldn't be in the olympics is also thick, because that shit is fucking hard and again, it gets representatives from many different countries.

Golf would be on more of a universal scale than baseball as well....karate is also appropriate.
