Base repairs?

Is there a way to repair you bases yourself that doesn't take up an entire day?

I have so many gashes that wax won't fill up and the only way I know how to fix bases is to grind it down and smooth it out and then use the paste stuff, but it takes forever to dry...

P-Tex its a plastic compount you can melt into the deep shit... i would find a friend who knows how to do it instead of just trying it yourself first time out

P aint really that hard to use, i use it all the time in my basement, you just melt it into the bases and then scrape away the extra p tex

just heat up the ski base aroudn the gouge, then like the ptex stick on fire and let it drip into the scratch...then scarpe of the excess

heat the base? I dont know, buddy... I just brass brush it really well to get some structure in there and just drip the p-tex in, I'd be careful with torching your gouges... because burnt base is slow as fuck.
