was a really fun game to watch even though it was anti climatic. and ronaldo seriuosly is a horrible player and missed a pk which would have won the game. barcelona all the way

i think if ronaldo had put it in, barcelona would have had more in them and probably tied it up at least.

overall a good game and i'm really looking forward to the second leg of both semi finals. (if i was Riise, i would hate myself)

I havn't watched the game yet but I will later.

I don't understand why everyone likes Ronaldo so much. He is a damn good ON the ball. off the ball he is a lazy piece of shit.

what a lot of shit you guys talk about ronaldo

if you watch him week in week out in the premiership you would know how fucking good this guy is. He's scored 38 goals from midfield, almost unheard of. The guy is simply the best player in the world at the moment and has been for a year or so. You cant say he's overrated as a player after watching him against barca, united played a defensive game, only had 35% possession and played for a draw. Despite that he could easily have won 3 penalties, if the game was at Old Trafford they probably would have been given.

you'll see a different united team in the second leg, united will play with much more attacking flair and will go through to moscow.

All this and i support Arsenal

Wow, I don't value your opinion if you say Ronaldo is a horrible player. He has been leading the league all year. You obviously don't know what your talking about. 28 goals and 6 assists? He's the best player in the world right now.

Go reds.

Oh and that's just in the premier league, I think he has 7 in the champions league too. What a badass.

What was the deal with Rooney? I only caught the end of the game, but I noticed that he was playing a defensive mid position?

alright so he isnt a horrible player, hes pretty good actually....but when ronaldo is getting paid as much as he does he shouldnt be missing pks that werent even on target (especially in semi-finals against barcelona)

I found it to be a boring game to watch. Ronaldo missing a Pk has nothing to do with him being a horrible player. He is the best in the world right now

definitely was a fun game to watch i love barcelona... i dont understand why they don't start thierry henry, as soon as they put him in he had the best shot of the game... and where did that 17 year old bojan krcic (?) kid come from, can you imagine playing champions league at 17 years old...damn. Messi was fucking sick that game too, I still can't believe Barcelona didn't win with what 65% possesion the whole game.

i watched the second half of it and it was mad boring too watch, way too slow and nothing exciting happened (i don't normally watch soccer). Some of those guys need to stop being such pussies tho, i'd be embarrassed if i took some of the falls those guys did on live TV, half the shit they can play through but fall to get the free kick, which is weak.

ronaldo is one of the best no doubt,

but hes a bitch

barcelona should have been more aggressive shooting the ball,

there where 3-4 times where they definately should have shot imo

and maybe a few more too, they were a little predictable.

im suprised they didnt sub tierry henry in earlier

i felt they needed a goal scorer in like him

both teams are so ridiculously good though.

Ummmmmm, a goal scorer like Messi or Eto'o? Champions league away goals are worth more. They are obviously resting him and Ronaldinho for the game at Old Trafford. Man U played with like 9 people on defense so they can take advantage of being at home.

Henry wasn't fully fit, Ronaldinho isn't playing for the rest of the season. Ronaldo, however a big of a bitch he is, no one even compares to what kind of form he is on right now, however he never plays that great in Europe. I love Barca and I pray they pull it out, but at the theatre of dreams their chances aren't very good, but anything can happen. But hopefully the second leg of this fixture can live up to the great potential this game has.

i was wondering where ronaldinho was.....why is he not playing? (reason why FCB didnt win)

Almost all of those 38 goals have come against shitty fucking teams. Not to mention that Ronaldo is basically a striker and that he takes many PK's and free-kicks.

Ronaldo disappears against big teams, even if United do win (which they should do) it won't be because of Ronaldo.

Over the last season or two Ronaldinho has really lost his form. He has become overweight and lost his passion. You can see it in his play, he has little drive, he's lost much of his speed and his creativity and flair are suffering because of this. You often hear stories coming out of Barcelona of Ronaldinho going clubbing before games and shit like that. I think he's done there, he needs to get back into shape and get onto a new team (most likely Milan).

As for the second game I'm pretty sure Barca has a shot. Sure it's at OT the ''theater'' of phantom penalties and red cards in favor of United but w/e. Barca isn't a team that will get blown out and with all their fire power they are almost sure to score. I think they should give Henry a run, he's been doing poorly in Spain because teams there defend much deeper which totally cancels out his speed. Henry will have a better time against an English defense.

Sorry for the triple post...

Here is a picture of R10 in his prime and then now.
