Banned Disney Cartoons

You know Disney owns Miramax right? You know Quentin Tarantino has done several movies under the Miramax label?

Well, the matter that Disney never really "pussed" out of anything. That is unless you were referring to something else?

donald duck was also banned in alot ofcountries cause he didnt wear pants

not that there is anything there except feathers...

They all just said " Donald Duck In Technicolor" and he signed his naem as donald duck and was called it too.

and you also have the original songs of the south which is no longer made because of racial slurs which were totally ecptable when it was made in the 30's, i think there is even a character called tar baby

Two things.

1) Donald Duck was never banned in any country because he didn't wear pants. Thats just an urban myth.

2) The "Song of the South" feature length film has not been withheld from North American release because of the use of racial slurs (no slurs or derogatory terms actually appear in the film). It has been withheld because of questionable context, namely the portal that the slaves were happy on the plantation. The "tar baby" that appears in the film also has pretty much nothing to do with race.

Seeing as you obviously haven't seen the film...you really have no idea what you're talking about.

i'm here in sweden and i asked a kid i met if donald duck was really banned. he laughed at me and ask what i was talking about. he's never been banned from sweden. but that other donald duck was because of too much violence in the comics or something

Wrong, Donald Duck WAS banned in Finland, can't remember exactly when, but it happened because he didn't wear any pants.
