This dude is the sickest artist around. He's an amazing stencil/graffiti artist, but the places he gets his artwork is amazing. I was looking through a book of his, and there were cows, things in Zoos, and some segregation wall in Palestine.

The stuff on the wall in Palestine is awesome. Like the vacation style things. If you want an amazing book, and conversation piece buy one of his books. Sit it on your table, and people will be amazed.

The news paper article at the end of the first one is awesome. People got put in jail for painting over his graffiti. shit's full circle.
 
yeah man some of his stuff really impressed me. i like the angel in the ally with the booze.
 
HE is located in bristol in enlgand, i live 10 minutes away. walking down the road you will see loads of his shit. one of the most talented people in the world.

i like this one the best. he put this up in a museum to see how long it would be before anyone noticed. it was discused in my visual structures class.

hasn't he put a lot of stuff up in museums? I saw a sick podcast on CurrentTV about him a while back, definately really talented guy...
 
BUMP I was trying to get to the last thread, but gave up at 1141-1200 I saw a thread about banksy and just ahd to respond. i love that guy's art! There was an article about him in the New Yorker a while back. good stuff. You should definitely check him out.
 
The article in The New Yorker was pretty neat. I was lucky enough to go to london an i saw some of his shit, and the likes of Space Invaders etc etc
 
yeah bansky can stick to his bullshit legal artwork. id have more respect for him but he never did his thing in the dirt & grime like the rest of us. keep it in your nice white studio.
 
What the fuck are you talking about? Banksy started out on the streets of Bristol, Brighton and London. I'm from Brighton and know a number of people who have been out painting with him and he still goes on the streets and keeps painting now, even though financially theres no reason for him to. Thats where he started you idiot.
 
90 percent of what he does is street art. k,now  your facts before you try to claim something like that.
 
alright. i take back what i said. ive always found his stencils hilarious but there is something that i just dont like about him. whatever, my opinion. im a bomber maybe thats why.
 
one thing that noone has really stated yet is that he draws all of his stencils by hand, and then cuts them out. No computer/photoshop at all.

I've been in love with this guys stuff for a while. happy to see it on ns.
