Banff/Sunshine vs Fernie

Hey Im from NZ. me and 2 other kiwis are heading ova to Canada early december. We ski mostly big moutain and are more interested in Pow than Park. We are deciding between Sunshine and Fernie... What do you guys reckon?

Also another question would it be easier to get a job and accomodation in banff than fernie? Or are we arriving in Canada too late to get jobs?

i spent the last 8 seasons in banff. fuck fernie! they are a lot lower in elevation, banff is way better for big mountain cause they are higher up. sunshine is always going to have good snow but fernie is always a worry. sure they get better dumps but it ices up when the shine wont. get some BC gear and head out into the slack country around the shine. there is ten times the amount of women in banff as there is fernie. its more then just the skiing . dont waste your time in fernie, if your serious go ski the shine. go try and hook yourself up with the ski patrol or the local rippers in banff
 
Sunshine = a HUGE mountain with tons of good big mountain lines, decent - good park, rare pow day, tourest scene.
Fernie = good size mountain (always new terrain to find), no park (except like 6 rails), epic pow days all season (over 11m's of snow last year, probly around 10 days of 30cm+ overnight), and amazing fernie is an amazing town with amazing people.

You will have a good time at either place. You said u arnt coming until early Dec though and it will be alot harder to find a place to live in fernie that late.
 
In banff everyone has aids, aids aids aids aids aids. Fernie is awesome but played out really quick. if you can actually ski move to an untapped mountain.
 
screw fernie, go to nelson or rossland. at least those places haven't been hit by a real estate clusterfuck and aren't full of rich dumbasses.

Decided to hit up Sunshine... Gonna be epic, now it looks like theres gonna be 3 more "fucking foreigners claiming loc status in banff", spreading our "foreigns std's" and contracting "aids, aids aids aids aids aids"
