Bandanna

not really but ive been wearing it lately cause i got a cold and anything that covers my face or neck helps...dont really completely on it thou

haha no

its really for looks

on a cold day they will freeze up and make you even colder

on a decent day their alright

but their kinda for looks i say

but if you want a warm one burton came out with one that like velcros in the back and has padding on the inside. their really dope

no like they said in the back of one of the powder mags this year about trends that need to dye....the bandanna was meant for summer skiing on the glacier to keep the sun off your face. it was a replacement for sunscreen....only thing i notice about it is it slighlty keeps wind off your face.

yea i saw that, good article too. plus if you can't handle a little wind, then your just not a real skier. wind burn is for pussies.

hey those look sick. i went to the site, but none of the stores are near me. i dropped them an email, but do you know how much they are and if they ship?

bandanas are useless... just buy a fleece bandana-shaped face warmer thing like neff makes, they are far superior.

so this one day it was so cold that I tried my friends balaclava thing or whatever they're called, the face mask things, and they are so much better for keeping you warm since they dont freeze and the breathing holes make it so that they dont get wet from your breath like plain fleece does. so yea I'd been meaning to do this for a while and finally did today, I sewed a bandanna to one. pumped for a cold day to try it out. another downside I've found in utah is that on a pow day in really deep snow my bandanna would just get pushed against my mouth and suffocate me which was rather annoying.

ahh yah i hate that

but you could just bring couple and keep them in you pocket/backpack/butthole until your other one freezes over

I use bandannas and necktubes, bandannas are just good for keeping the sun and slight chill from the wind off your face. Bandannas are only good cuz my fleece necktube is way to bulky and uncomfortable when its only a lil cold.

I dont know about the line bandana with the fleece liner but i do know neff makes one like that so you can look into those they seem like they would keep your face warm.

I got the von zipper wett bandana. so warm it has fleece on the inside and it looks sick too. I know tactics bardshop has them. I just bought another one from their website

stops the wind from biting your face for sure, but when its wet and cold it freezes, which makes it kinda cold and wet and harder to breathe through. better than neck tubes over the face imo though

They are dope on a cold day that it isn't snowing/powder day. I wore one today and it was quite cold and it helped alot. I end up getting too warm sometimes under it.

Actually, mine keeps me pretty damn toasty.

The trick is to get a good quality, thick bandanna (like the voleurz one) and then get a SECOND one underneath. This always keeps me warm, and makes sure I don't have a frozen bandanna glued to my chin.

Voila!

when it is covering your face and you're breathing into it it keeps the the warm air closer to your face. it also is good sun protection but then again so is spf 30. it helps a little with the wind but not too much. and if it freezes then it does more bad then good. i wear one because it does more good then bad.

mine keeps me warm. sometimes i need to take it off for a run or two because it gets too moist and hot, and then it freezes up which sucks. but i ski in new jersey. but still even wen its like 20 degrees out it helps a lot, until your bandana starts to freeze

Get a bandito, they are bad ass. fleece lined bandanna that velcros in the back for easy on and off. it has vents to let moisture out. Call Radio Boardshop 970-925-9373, they will ship, lots of colors too.

just stay away from cotton (what 95% of the bandannas people wear are made of)

cotton = holds moisture

holds moisture = frozen block on your face

i got a sick setup thats super warn and it keeps your face from chafing on your jacket. if you wanna know a warm way pm me.

i have a few bandanas that im going to try and sew on the inside a face warmer thing...that will be hopesully better than just a plain bandana

after a while i kinda lose the sense of pain in my face and its not bad. I never realize i have frostbite until people tell me.

mine keeps me pretty warm, rarely freezes.

but they arent in style anymore so im rocking the urban turban.

i never wear them but it was -12 F and it was to cold to go out with nothing on my face, so i rocked one for 2 days, they are great when they are over my face, your breath warms it up nicely and keeps everything unfrozen, the second you take it off your face its hell, they freeze up instantly, so its kinda a win loose

I wear mine to keep my neck warm. If im really cold i wear it up the lift so i can keep my face a little warm. Other than that it stays around my neck.

I'll admit it, its for looks.
