Bandana Freeze

Hey people,

As everyone knows, bandanas not only make you look steezy, but they also keep your face from falling off when the temperatures drop. One problem I have noticed, however, is that when the temperature falls below freezing, moisture collects around my mouth on the bandana. This eventually gets cold and can be hard to breathe through. Has anyone else had this problem? What do you do to remedy it?

You don't wear a bandana.

What I find works best is every time you go up the lift you push the bandana down into your jacket and pull the jacket up over your nose. This keeps your face warmer than a bandana alone and it gives the bandana defrosting time every run.

Straight up. I don't usually wear it over my face if I can avoid it, because once I take it off it freezes rock solid. Definitely bring multiples and change em out at lunch/snacktime, or if you mountain's bathrooms have those hand blower dryer things, then dry em off with those. They're great for gloves too!

I wore one once last year to see what all the hype was about, within 30 mins it was frozen solid. I guess it depends where you ski, or how badly you wanna look 'street'.

lol at beards.. but i just tie it loose so when it does freez its not touching my face so it doesnt make it colder and when its frozen it breaks the wind better so i find it a bit warmer

http://www.airhole.ca/ useless site i know, look them up on google or something. its basically a bandana made out of a different material with a hole where your mouth is which prevents moisture from building up and freezing. or make your own sort of thing. oh yeah and searchbar

Yo I just wear one out of each pocket and have a backpack full of bandannas and two around my face at once for extra insulation power, then if anyone I see has a frozen bandana I just give them one of mine.
