yeah, i think personally if i'm just looking to get a cheap pair to mess around on sometimes i'd go on ebay and get some of the old salomon blades. they'll be similar, but higher quality and cheaper

example

This is from the banana website: "The first ever injection molded skis, these are made of a solid composite material that is stronger than a standard ski base meaning zero core shots and less damage!!"

i don't really know exactly what that means but it sounds low quality in terms of base material, flex, stability...

My companions in the sacred mysteries of the holy spirit, do not ride anything with those bear-trap style bindings❗ I watched my boy fall over on a green run and break his tib & fib in 2 places each.

Partybullshiit has the right idea ?

Idk they followed me on instagram and then unfollowed when i didn’t follow them back.

They still like my stories sometimes though?

Seems like a good product but i’m not sure about the price

usually I only eat one banana at a time. seems like the banana blade should be just one banana. someone somewhere should stop being so scared of the world and make one banana blade to rule them all. go ahead put two pivots on the same ski and turn them all the way up

It means it's just plastic

I know these guys personally and have demoed the blades multiple times. I can tell you they have been very diligent in their process and involved in development every step of the way. This is a fun brand developed by core dudes. These things rip! Worth the price especially during the 25% off sale they’re running!

Kinda hard to attribute that just to the binding. I have a pair of Salomon blades and they’re small enough that when you fall they’re not getting snagged or caught. Although I do think having them on any ski over 100cm is a terrible idea.

Chipotle blades are nearly impossible to get. They seem to sell out within a few hours of the text message alerts

Pretty sure he’s talking about the plastic blades, Not moments.

okay so yeah, that probably means shitty slow base, probably very low torsional rigidity, etc etc. sure theyre blades but why spend 200 on them when you can get actual blades for more like 100?

Tbh if you care about those things you should just ski normal skis tho

Snowblades are a toy, talking about torsional rigidity and snowblades in the same sentence is hella silly

i feel like i already addressed that haha. yes agreed but why would i pay 200 for plastic ones rather than 100 for better ones?

it's up to you though, every man has his own blade philosophy amiright
