I think it would be funny if when mods found an alias they messed with the profile and where it says status put in their real username
 
You wanna know how to get him to stop posting? Ignore him..............creating threads like this DOES NOT HELP........you wanna know how I know this? Because I've was like him a few years back, except a little less thuggish XD. But yeah whenever he replies just pretend like you never even saw his post.

holy fuck, yes they can and have. Half of NS does not just post trolls and stupid shit, sure everone does once in a while but not every post like this idiot did.
 
That's too much. There shouldn't be a rule that gives moderators the ability to ban hammer a user for any reason. Even if the mods are responsible, not saying that you guys aren't, I would still be against that rule.
 
Oh is that where you keep your tampons too? You know that last rule is way too vague for a site like this. You guys put us up on a high pedestal and if we slip off even once you half the time you ban us. Why should mods be any different? With a rule like that, one could go around banning whoever they want and still be within their right to do so.

If you don't like it then don't go on NS. It's a free website and the people who run it can do whatever they want. No one is forcing you to log in
 
No, I love NS, but I understand the potential it has. Newschoolers.com is THE biggest community ski website, that I know of. You guys are the boss. Your setting the standards for the rest.

I've been a member here since 2003. I've seen people get banned, unbanned, perma-banned, or just generally shunned by the forum community.

I've never had an issue with a mod or their decisions on this site, new or old.

They've let some of the outrageous ones stick around because they were also productive and (sometimes) massively entertaining and even useful at times. (Dloc and alpentalik come to mind. Both now inactive I believe.)

Bottom line:



You want universal standards. You're never getting them.

You want to be treated with respect. Act with respect.
