Whooooo! well, i saw this movie last night and i think i went through some intensive reality shock. im starting to rethink my whole taste in music. or maybe i should just be who i am and like what i like. well, getting off my emotional high now, has anyone else seen this movie? i didnt see the whole thing so maybe i missed something at the last half of the movie. is this Spike Lee's latest work? i dunno, i just realized something too. white people are always saying that Lee makes all the white people in his movies dumb and honky-ish. i think hes just returning all of those negatives effects of stereotypes. yknow? like, what we did to black people from when cinema started up to like 15-20 yrs ago. like portraying all blacks as aunt sarahs and pimps. what do you guys think?

ok, i rented it tonight and watched the whole thing. i think the main message isn't as much about white kids being posers (whew, glad that Spike Lee isnt gonna come beat me up) as it is about well, just to not 'Believe the Hype.' yknow, its like dont just eat everything mass media feeds you. just cause its mainstream doesn't mean its right. baisically, i think its one of spike lees more fucked up movies. i though 'Burn, Hollywood, Burn' @ the end was funny andd... whats that word? oh yeah, poigniant.

That doesnt make it right in any respect, in fact, thats pretty damn cheap and it says to me that hesa racist rather than an intellectual.

Foo' Spike Lee is one of the most intelligent young black entertainers in the world. Maybee the fact is there are alot of dumb white people, I damn sure know a lot of stupid white people.
