Baker's park?

i bet they put it back up soon, seeing as its way too warm for it to snow much more.

probably before saturday, so the bus crush will have something to do.
 
thursday is what we were told on tuesday. i poached a little bit today it was sick as fuck bigger than i have ever seen it. looked like 3 big booters a few spines cbox right at the begining. they had one of the flat downs setup the gay dog house box or whatever was setup on the far right. i dunno it looks like its gonna be pretty sick.
 
ya i think they are at the botom of the park they got a few Hips up to if thats what they are called with like the kicker thing on the side of a spine i dunno they got a few of those 2 and they have the big rainbow setup too.
 
sick its about time they built a jump big enough to do something off. and i liek the dog house.
 
my hip hurts after poaching the c-box and having 0 speed to hit it because of the run in lol my whole hip is red and purple lol :(
 
i was up today didnt ride it but the jumps are still pretty little, but def an improvemtn
 
i rode through the park today so much pow everything was alomst covered again. the spine at the bottom the landing on the right side was streight see through blue death ice!
 
baker? quarter pipe? that would be hella sick but i think they nee dto at least maintain the half pipe first its so shitty
 
So they set up the three jump line they had 2 years ago? This year where they had the two top jumps, that was one, and the hill you dropped in for the third was one, and the bottom hill was one. They should also set up the huge ass hip at the top, or right below blood alley. If moonshot was a maintained jump that would be sick also.
 
I was just thinkin about that yesterday it wouldn'take much work and it would be so sick. but i bet they would think it is to dangrouse cause the run you go across to hit it is a busy run.
 
who cares about bakers park their is so much powder and amazing lines to ride I would mush rather ride fresh powder than ski a hard park
 
^I agree with you on that one but the thing is I have skied so much powder this year I want to go ski park rather then go ski pow right now.
 
just streight line blood alley and have a kicker up to the left on that cat track and fly into the pow!

So, in conclusion, parks are good for gettin rid of crazy people.
 
And if you want jumps the BC booter is the way to go even inbounds they work they had a sweet kicker under chair 7 going off the cat track that everyone was throwing down on
 
ya well bakers park is gonna be huge when it stops snowing i meen they are gonna have so much snow to build with and in the spring time the park is gonna be off the chains cause of how the moved the shit to a little bit different location and how they set it all up it will last so much longer than before! I know that fool Elijah that runs the park up at baker hes a tight kid im givin him some good ideas for shit, so if u have ideas for what u wanna see let me know and i will see what i can get done.
 
I was once on the chair with these two guys who think there cool because they ride skis that are +190 cm and arent twin tips, but it was pretty cool because they were riding with Terry Goodman. Hes the guy who makes all of the rails and features for bakers park. He was saying how it only took them about 3 hrs to haul all the rails up to chair 8, set them up, and build the lips and landings. It takes quite a lot longer for jumps though. But yeah, Baker has huge potential right now.

Elijah is probaly the sickest snowboarder I know. but whenever he suggests things to his superiors to create a new rail, hip, or whatever, they consider is complaining because he's fueling so many ideas to the them.
 
tell him to make some jumps that go in a row, that are like 50 feet or something. theres definitly enough speed if you push snow and put them in the right spots. and give them lots of kick. i remeber they had some pretty big jumps a few years ago. that would make my day.
 
thats what they are trying to do right now but its lookin like we gonna keep gettin snow till monday.
 
dude i was up today and it was hella sunny, like 36 degrees and like spring conditions. i was really missing the big park because all they had up was the gimp park off 3

The put a hip right at the top where the doghouse was.

Then you can go for rainbow to doghouse or hit a set of jumps. The second set is pretty hard to clear because of nuckle.

so the jumps need to be rebuilt u cant carry enough speed to huck over them i didnt really even attempt to try i was hitting the step up over to the left of the natural half pipe thing was throwin people huge some cats on snowboars were throwin some big ass like 9's and shit
 
Yeah, that step up was crazy. If you mean skiers right of the natureal pipe. Me, Sean, Ben, Corey, Andrew, and Eric built that shit. I guess Corey stomped a 7 and Sean was throwin misty and rodeo 7's. I had to go to work once we finished. But anyways if your gonna hit it, make sure you carry hella speed into it so you dont land in the piss in the transition like all the gapers did.

Bakers park was closed today because the cat broke down and they got it running about 10:00. It was really retarded though becuase there was actually a line up in the park from people that had just ducked the ropes and shit. I skied up to the closed sign, saw all the people, and was about to go in when a pro patroller came and told me not to go in. He then yellled at everybody else.
 
ya thats the step up i was talkin about and ya i was bombin from above that fat tree on the right of the natural half pipe. it had a really nice transition and shit and was really easy to spin off. i was into throwin the huge 180's off it.
 
butter pad = sick and the same with that second jump, it easy to get speed just dont stop from whereever you are coming from and skip the first one
 
elijah did make the butter pad! nice my foot is all fucked up but im gonna go check that out tomorrow. what is it like up there still no snow, is it mad icy and shit?
 
Last week that had about a 15-20 ft table to either a 20 ft or 30 ft table which you couldnt clear unless you skipped the first one. Landings are prolly gonna be hard this weekend.
 
the step up at the start of the park on skiers left is so much fun. its not that big but you can push it as far as you want and the in run is way bug / sketch so you go from hauling ass and just working on getting to the jump and next thing you know your half way through the air I really dig it
 
ya that thing is tight elijah built it by hand. originaly at least dunno if the cat has fixed it since then. DAMN MUTHA FUCKA I AM HUNGOVER LITERLY IM RUNNING THE BATHROOM RIGHT NOW TO START YAKING AGAIN PEACE!
 
i can find out for you. i havnt really heard anything. But they did build a sick ninja tree branch gap thing i dont even know what to call it at the very begining of the park.
