Baker's new park

Baker decided to completely move and rebuild the park because of the Banked Slalom this weekend, and the end result is sweet! Much, much, much better than the old one. There are 2 big tables, 2 small tables, a spine, and a step down. The big tables each have 2 different hits off them, as does the step down. The rainbow rail has been pulled out, but the trapezoid is back in, for whatever reason.

You are welcome. Yes the stunt ditch is still brown. Everytime we re-cut, we hit the ground. Thanks a lot el nino. I am on the park maintence crew and I operate lifts.

rode there today...wow, nice hits...just need the rails in there...and they are coming.

also heard that they are putting in a skier/boarder x course next to it.

and they are in fact going to keep on maintaining...this shit ain't temporary.

the new park is sweeter than sweet! if it snows this weekend i'll be jizzing myself the whole time i'm up there! that big hit on the first big table is huge. took me about a day to gather the courage to hit it. gotta straight the in-run from the trees to clear it.

the step down is also pretty big and nice later in the day when nobody's standing right on the landing waiting to be impaled.

great landings and smooth takeoffs. probably best park i've skied. (haven't done the whistler one though)

I was up there yesterday, and that table is huge, The big rail is in the park right next to that table, and it's a nice rail too. It is supposed to snow this weekend, it shall be nice.

New table next to double hit and bottom, new spine, and 2 new rails going in on Friday.

Either the 2nd or 3rd week of March there will be a Slopestyle comp at Baker...

 
No info, because I haven't finished organizing it yet. Right now, it's a skiers only event, with a mogul comp the next day. Probably dump the halfpipe event, and replace the big air with the slopestyle.

 
We have to find out how much interest (and schwag) there will be. Maybe a pro/am division right now, but if there is enough interest, we could probably do under/over 18 in the am's.

really kids, i went up there today and i was so excited because you guys talked like it is soo huge, but really its a fucking piece of shit, the summit has way bigger jumps. i was expecting at least a sixty footer with all the snow they got.

although, the big table which is prolly 35 feet is set up reallly well, lonng landing very good

so props for that

my intire crew waited for his ass at the bottem of the hill and beat the shit out of him. i broke his poles agianst a tree, and we snapped one of his skis. fucker got uppercutted so much. he was bleeding from his eyes and shit, crying like a little pussy. i busted out a body slam on his ass and broke both of his arms. the ski patroler broke up the fight and clipped all of our tickets. we where gonna beat the shit out of the patroller but my mom came to pick us up.

should have been there a couple weeks ago... its hard to maintain a park when you get snow daily...that two week snowless window was epic.

dude it was sweet sunday. too much heavy snow to go off the jumps so I just worked on my powder 8s down the landings. Do they still have powder 8 comps? like the one in Aspen Extreme?
