so i donno i might be retarted but i cant figure out where to look on the baker website to see if its closed or not tomorrow........because stevens definitely is and i wanna ski tomorrow....so i might go to baker
 
Sorry man.......baker is closed.

"Due to rising freezing levels and expected rain above 5000 feet, there are some slide paths on the Mt. Baker Highway that the highway department has a concern about. Therefore, the Mt. Baker Highway will be closed starting at 10:00PM, Friday February 8th and Mt. Baker Ski Area will be closed tomorrow, Saturday the 9th. Freezing levels are expected to lower Saturday afternoon and Saturday night, which will enable the Mt. Baker Highway to reopen at 6:00AM Sunday, February 10th.

We will update this report again at 5:00AM, Saturday and again during the day on Saturday as conditions change.

Question:

How are the conditions at Baker right now? I'm goin up Friday, and the website says good things, but how has it been until today? Has there been any rain? It rained bad in Vancouver and our local's, so what's up at Baker?
 
Nope, went to manning. They had a foot of light fresh untracked all day. Sounded like a better option to me...
