Since Stevens and Snowqualmie already have one i thought it would be fun to join in. Who is stoked for the 10-11 season at Baker? Because this kid definitely is.

i'll be there for orientation as well. working food service. went up last wednesday and skied around and built some shit. pretty fun!
 
Hey sweet we've got more NSers working up there.
I'll see you cats at orientation on saturday. Food service is the shit. I'll probably be wearing my orange beanie, come say whats up if you see me. I'll try and remember to have stickers on me as well if you want to pick a couple up.
 
i tried getting a job up there last year and i didnt get hired even though i've worked lift lines, taught lessons, and i work in a kitchen....BAM BAM BAM i would have been like a jack-of-all-trades up there, but NNNOOOOOOO....

Opening day, when everyone wears their brand new gear, I'm going the complete opposite. Watch out for a jean jacket, with ripped off sleeves, so, a jean vest.
 
anybody know how its looking at baker right now? trying to go up sunday if it snows saturday night, but i wanted to know how much of the last storm's snow is left
 
Geeze. Seems like most of the NS Baker population in working there this year. Pray you get to work with Caylor, because he rocks the house.
 
i'll be serving you guys food 5 days a week. i have mondays and tuesdays off so come take some runs
 
I had some Dukes, used them for half a year, then shelved em. But now that I won't be skiing them I guess they'll work...I'm also looking into getting camping supplies and just doing base-camp style excursions...
 
I did a camping thing last spring and went out to Mt. Ruth and spent 2 days skiing around. One of the more fun trips i have been on. It's a lot of work getting all that stuff skinned in though, especially if you plan on bringing camera gear and what not.
 
i dunno bout baker but after last night stevens certianly has enough for light touring/jib and would be completely legit w/ a shovel to cover takeoffs/landings

ya i had a friend who went up and built a jump. he said it was pretty fun. now if they can get a little more snow!
