Baker 10-11

Literally, Baker is falling apart. Just got word that a massive slide released on the Arm, about a 15ft crown not sure how wide but filled in Rumble Gully and covered 100+ tracks. Hope no one was in it...

you go by it everyday. and its gone now because i sent that whole thing rolling down the hill after i pillow smashed it.

Is it right above the second cat track going up six the the lookers right of that cliff? Not sure what the runs called... ha

6 ft of snow fell between the time the slide happened and that photo was taken. supposedly the fracture was upwards of 15 ft and the debri in the gully is up to 100 ft deep! So fucked up.

I am always blown away by how many people go out on the arm on high danger days, apparentley people were on the arm that day but chair 6 opened shortly before the slide occurred which is probably why somehow nobody was caught by the slide.

Hey guys. I'm skiing Baker Sunday...never been up....where should I go? I ski everything...except huge cliffs...ha. And snow conditions?

The snow should be decent by the weekend, you could probably ski the whole mountain in one day but I would recommend skiing Gabels, The Chute, and Sticky Wicket for sure. The mountain got a lot of rain today so hope for some new snow by the weekend...

"Baker was amazing today. One of the deepest days all year and its still coming down" sound familiar? Bummed prob not gonna make it up have to settle for snoqualmie

Ahhh...so bummed I set up my college tours how I did. :(

The snow wasn't great, but I really liked baker itself....and on a pow day...oh my god....
