who here reads daily bread? it's the sickest magazine ever. for all you skate haters, you need to read this. the rails are huge, and the gaps are so insane. everyone who thinks skating is weak hasn't seen vinny minton slide a 50 set handrail backwards, or brian shima do a torque grind.

DB is cool but I wish it had some competition, it's the only mainstream inline skate mag.

the thing w/skating and the daily bread is this. its commendable that the daily bread got so big to go from a 1 page 2 sided zine to a full fledged magazine and that its run by the skaters is great...but inline is way too easy...yeah that's a crock b/c a lot of the guys who are really good are REALLY good and saying its easy isn't exactly straight, BUT skateboarding compared to inline is a big deal. skateboarding is tech...inline is not...i did it for a while and w/in the first year of riding ramps i was doing fronts and misties...hell i'm in the stowe dryland ski camp brochure (last time i checked). any of you who know real low key skaters, john nakahara and his brother jay whooped the industry when they came into it after skating hardcore for only 5 months...they were pure talent and style...but they left b/c it seemed to some extent like it reached its pinacle...ok yeah 720 or 900 flat spin is hard...but when you look like a balerina (sound that out...i can't spell) doing it, that's not chill.
