Bad boot fitter?

ok this is the story, I needed to change my boots so I went to a very well known place in a resort in Colorado, I was thinking of buying a pair of dalbellos krypton so I said to the boot fitter if he could see if the boot was right for my foot, he grabed a pair of 26.5 Rampage as I told him I was park and freeride skier and he said they were ok but the first time I put them on I felt my toes touching the front of the boot very hard, I closed the middle knuckle and it was still touching a bit. he told me to wear them for 2 or 3 days and it will be fine but it mas gooing to be a ¨tight boot¨. ok so a bought that pair for like 400 dollars. I used them for a hole week and I couldnt feel my toes, I mean I had to stop skiing a bunch of times cause the pain was so strong I thought I was gonna lose my toes, not kidding. I came back to argentina and Ive been wearing freaking rental boots since then.

anyway, can anyone tell me if he made a mistake or I should be doing park and pow with my foot in pain as hell?

and Im thinking on geting a pair of full tilt bumble bees but on 27, is that ok? cause Ive been told that they do boots smaller than others.

Thanks!!

race fit. you'll get used to it. i have been skiing in boots that are 3 sizes small for 3 years. if it is really bad get them punched out

From your description I don't think it was necessarily a bad boot fit, but sometimes a person's foot is just in between sizes and in order to get a good performing boot it's better to go with the smaller rather than the bigger size.

The Krypton shell is pretty darn thick, and a good fitter should be able to grid out a bit in the toe or punch it out if need be. Sorry you ended up with a couple crappy days on them, but go into a boot fitter in your area, and they should be able to get it resolved.

the liner should defenitely pack out with use and there for give you more room for your feet... but if the boot itself is too small for you then i suggest you get some work done on them. punching them out will help for sure and i'm sure there's tons of stuff you could do to them.

checa tus pm's.

The volume of the boot will increase with 20% after you ski on them for a while. As long as when you were leaning forward into a skiers stance, your toe was only lightly touching or not touching the front at all, they'd be perfect.

first off i'd check shell fit for your rampages you do that by takin out the liner and centering your foot now make sure you hvae at least 3/8 of an inch around the perimeter of your foot. if so the shell is a good fit, one problem with the krytons exspecially the rampages is a small heel pocket so check that out.

Now i'd suggest goign to another boot fitter and be fitted for the full tilts you can find good ones by checking out masterfituniversity.com

That sounds like bullshit, you need to take them back and raise hell

You're boots should be tight and fitted but nothing that causes your toes to "feel like they're gonna fall off"
