to all the people that ordered them, have you gotten yours yet??? if so how do they ski??? how do they look in real life??? any photos?
 
sir francis bacons, theyre pollards pro model. well one of them. theyre like the elizabeth, only longer and a little wider.

look soooo m uch fun, if only i could break mycurrent pow boards and give myself an excuse to buy / wait in the queue for a pair.
 
yea but i mean like addicts look way sicker in real life than in the photos, just wanted to see pics of the real things
 
Wow, that doesn't help.

He hasn't ridden them yet, but they look ill, had to bend the brakes to get them to fit around the ski.
 
I haven't seen any local shops in norcal with them in. My friend had a set on order and ended up just swithing to the elizabeths since he was sick of waiting.

elizabeth are dope in person so I would imagine the bacons to looks just as good if thats what you are going for.
 
mine are supposed to arrive on my doorstep any second now. i have been waiting all day for the ups truck to come.
 
Never ridden them but they look sick in real life, if I hadn't bought Prophet 130's AND JP vs. Juliens this year already, I'd definitly get the pair in the loacal shop right now.
 
he rode the invaders last year, and they borrowed the oliptical side cut from the elizabeth, so maybe they could be considered his skis too?
 
You say that like it's a bad thing? LINE's best move in awhile was putting Pollard in charge of the entire 06/07 lineup. And things are only going to get better.

I mounted mine today recommended... but damn, they kinda look far back. I guess I'll try them before I make assumptions. BUt Line said recommended was -2.5cm back from center... however I measured and it was closer to like 7 cm back from center.

grrr.

i saw some guy riding a pair of the 2008 bacons at meadows on monday. and no it wasn't pollard...the guy had a blonde beard.

the graphics were of some tree wtih the sun behind it with this grayish background behind that, kinda weird to explain.
 
haha ilovehoodcrunk! i can tell you who that is ... but im not goin to drop names... but there are a crew of guys on all of pollards pro models b/c they are all good friends with pollard.. i have the book of all next years line skis .. so you need to come look at it and this about geting some! your 4frnts are GAY!!! 
 
the standard mount point on them is 2.5cms back from center, that's sounds about where I'd want to mount them anyways. I had a pair of Bacons ordered, got sick of waiting, bought elizabeths and now I have to sell the ellizabeths
 
Yeah... thats where line says the recommended line is. But after measuring.. the line is further back than 2.5cm from center. I've seen other pairs and the rec lines were in the same place.
 
06/07 Bacons=SWEET!!! Pollard get a new ski for 07/08. EP pro or something along that line! More skis people can than him for.
