So Im looking at either of these skis Im 6'1" and weigh a beastly 135lbs. These would be pretty much strickly pow and very little park/pipe. I started leaning towards the lizzies but am starting to think the Bacons would be better mainly size wise (182) but im not totally sure. These would be my first pow ski so I really dont know what im getting into as for what I should look for in my ski, and any help is much appreciated. And feel free to suggest other skis.

Oh and the other skis I use are T-Halls 176 and Fujatives 179

Oh I searchbared already and thats why I am leaning more towards the Bacons, but again any feedback is appreciated.

bacons, lizzies would be way too small for you... i have a pair of original bacons and they are so much fun. im 6' 165lbs. even though you dont weight as much as me you will have no problem controling the bacons.

definitely the bacons, they're easy to handle as your lanky self and you're way too tall for lizzies, you'll hate them. bacons are sick skis. i recommend you buy both and eat the lizzies and use the bacons.. :)

you should go with the bacons. if i was getting a pow ski, i would get lizzies just to fool around on and shit.

Bacons for sure. I love mine, just slightly too soft but it's all good. I mounted mine at like -2 from true center I think and they are good, but in pow sometimes I wish they were a little farther back, but it makes switch riding very very easy, especially with the big sidecut.

mine are mounted -3 from recommended and they're sick, i don't ski switch in pow but they charge and do well on groomers too, they're not super noodly also but they aren't m1's

well, i just sold my bacons which i loved, to get another pair of the stiff matte black elizabeths, which i had 2 pair of....welll i didnt plan on getting the elizabeths again but they showed up on here so i had to.....

the bacons were alot better for powder, i would sink my tips on my elizabeths all the time. but they both ski almost the same, the bacons are a bit much waist in the moguls, and too flimsy to be stable at speed. and id think they dont ski pipe as well as the elizabeth.

^but you should get the bacon to go fast or ski moguls.....they are for buttering the mountain to shreads, and laying hand drags sooooo deep people may mistake for a halfpipe

I thought a 115 waist would be perfect for moguls ;) but yeah Im going to order them today, So now I have a follow up question on bindings Im looking at the jester/griffins, Im too light for the jesters right?

well it depends what DIN you use.. i would guess you will be fine on the griffons though. but if you can get a better deal on jesters or something and you use like an 8 DIN then they will be fine.. its just best not to be withing 10% of the ends of the scale.. so real usage on the jester is like 7-15..

Yeah the griffon should be just fine for me i thought the din only went up to ten but it goes up to 12 and I am at about a 7
