Hey, im getting some of the 09 bacons for this season and pumped for it but dont know what binding to get for them, dont know much about bindings. i will be skiing pow/ all mountain and probably a little park but not much! (no touring) im 5' 10, 175 and an aggressive skier. if anyone could lend a hand in which bindings to get that would be awesome.Cheers

I put Solly STH 14's on all my new 09 Lines this year. Great, light binding, comes with huge brakes so you dont have to bend em...

i would go with sth 14s. they'll last longer then jesters and im guessing you dont need a 16 din binding(if you do get sth 16s)

cheers guys sounds good! also heard god things about marker jesters. should i look into them? what about look bindings? also what is the true length of the bacons, loads of skis end up being different lengths than they are. thanks again

Bacons measure about normal for a 182, i.e 182. But they ski kind short, i guess due to the early taper. Also the marked midsole is at -6cm not -2.5 which is what it says on the website. As for bindings, I like jesters and most people have never had a problem, personally I chose the over sth 14s because I don't trust the quadrax toe, and I like the high elastic travel. That said the sth 14 might be more durable.

i had sth 16's on mine last winter. couldn't have been happier. with that said, get the 14's if the din range of the 16 doesn't suit you.

I just had Marker Baron Alpine Touring Bindings mounted on my '09 Bacons but I also do more skinning and back country than park.

YES!

STH is the burliest bindings out there, i have a pair of 16's going on my blends and a pair of 14's coming in for my S7's, probally going to switch over later.

But I love them

I just got mine with jesters, I'll let you know how they are. I have always had markers, so I trust them. I'm prepared for the STH ranting also that is sure to follow my post

actualy i measured my bacons out to 178 not 182.
and the line is 6 back i think im going to go 3 infront of the line maybe 2.
I have some z12ti's just sitting in my room. What does everyone think about these bindings? Would they just break?
Im 6ft 170lbs
i also have a pair of sth 16's i could get for 200. do you think that i should get these and that they would be okay at my weight and height for such a high din range. could i still safely use a 10 din range
