what is the fastest material to put on your drop in? ive used astroturf before and it slides decent but its not that good. what is everyone else using?

carpet that doesnt stick up alot and is firm and the bristles are really short. It slides real fast. or you can mount pvc to plywood.

It's pretty fast but can be pretty sketchy. It takes awhile to get used to because you have absolutely not edge control.

I think often times people throw around the word "astroturf" with great ease. I know that when post people think of "astroturf" they are thinking of indoor outdoor carpet. Astroturf is a substance that is used often times on indoor soccer fields. It contains sand like pellets or sand for that matter. The word is typically misused because most people have indoor/outdoor carpet. The place that I can think of that has astroturf is whale back. If you use indoor/outdoor carpet with some type of lubricant whether it be tide or dish detergent...doesn't matter...you will go lightning fast. Along with the need for soap you will also need the frequent application of water to keep the inrun, how should i say this, slick.

Hopefully that helps

yea astroturf is definately a must and the construction fence actualy does slide rly well. its alot more different then snow tho. i mean you could always just go to an arena
