Backyard set-up

So this summer I wanna build a back yard set up, not too complicated, just drop in and a box or rail. Was just wondering about some general advice (i.e. good/cheap material to ride on and where to get stuff) and how to make it work really well cause i don't know too much about it.

^^ i know i have been, the only reason i'm thinkin about it is cause i hit a backyard set up at a friend's house today and it got me thinking

set-ups are really really fun for after school or if you have any extra time... im really stoked on my new rails.

my piece of advice: go the extra mile and make your feature 8 feet longer than you are planning right now. it sucks when your rail isn't trickable.. there's only so much you can do on a 10 foot double barrel

this this this this.

The first this I made was an 8 foot box. you only have time for a 270 on, mayyybe a 270 out if you're really clean.

Dumpster diving is really good too. Find an old stick of pvc, stick in the snow, instant bonk set up. Just add a kicker.

do something no one else has done. instead of building a rail why dont you build a big air setup? use the roof of your house if you can...that saves building a tower from scratch. if you have a pool its even better

a friend of mine is talking about setting up a water ramp. thats what gave me the idea. having said that he is a builder so the whole thing will look awesome.
