Backyard Rail

i found some piping for a nice rail for my backyard, but i have no hill or angle to my backyard or anywhere in my neighborhood, and i cant tow in because i have no room for that. im thinkin about just building a wood ramp, but dont have ne idea where to start, I NEED OF HELP!

2x4's, plywood, and screws.....ours is a three piece setup, 4 or 5 feet wide.....one piece is the stand, 2nd is the first part of the ramp, 3rd is the second part of the ramp.....just make sure you have lots of crossbracing so it's stable (ours isn't big or anything maybe 10 feet high)

What u need is 3 pallets, 4 12ft 2x4s, 4 12ft 4x4s. You dig foot or so in gound and place the 4x4s in the gound so that they are on 4 conners of the pallets. Put some 2x4s and shit on top and across for spoort, then put the other 2x4s going diagoly down and then put the pallets on the 2x4s. Add extra wood so it dosent fall over, i use mine for winter and summer sking i have enugh speed in winter to hit 24ft dubble kink and enugh speed in summer to hit the kink too.

i tried a rail in my backyard yesterday. i went off the porch but the rail didnt stay in the ground. it was a piece from my old trampoline. other wize it would have been cool

me and a friend build a PVC rails with a wood frame and that has worked great its about 3 feet high and 10 feet long (pics are in my profile) my recomendation is dont build anything less then 10 feet because now i wish that it was a lot longer

 
thats pretty sick would be even sicker if like 10-15ft longer and metal but its sweet the way it is

2x4s, 4 1/2 inch PVC pipes, and 3 inch wood screws. check my profile for some pics. i built a 1' and 2' high rail. works so great
