I'm a skier from Wisconsin and i built Wooden (2 by 4's) rail That is 12 ft long and about 2 fett high. I was just wondering if I need to put PCP pipe on it. Or could I just wax the crap out of it.

Thanks so much for your time

double barrel pvc would be sick. just make some pilot holes through the pvc then sink the screws into the wood. make sure the screw heads are not sticking up.

umm no i dont sorry just use pvc its easy. you screw it in from the top of the pvc by the way

haha yeah dude. you can countersink the screws in and they will work fine. Me and a couple buddies made a 20ft box recently and we just made pilot holes in the side of the pvc and drilled them at a slight diagonal but countersinking from the top would work fine, just make sure the screws are nice and tight and not poking up!

ha, yeah it is but we had a shit load of 20ft pvc and a free day. its a good box to learn stuff on and its mad fun

ya pvc will work but if you can try to buy chain link fence rails they work the best and they arent that expence + they are durabla as fuck and wont crack like pvc i have a couple rails you can buy them at home depot

i just got back from home depot..... im going to start building the rail in a few minutes. i got the super thick abs tubes

get the abs tubes, they are super slippery and very thick, i built a frame around the tubes that i got to make a box, drilled holes into the abs from the side through the wood then put heavy duty bolts in there and used a special kind a glue on every surface that the tubes touch. feels bomb proof dosnt wobble move or shake when i was jibbin this morning

Alright, do u just get the abs tubes at home depot? and i think you have to put those hook things on the bottom of the rail into the ground to make the rail for sure not move. or just bury the whole bottom of it.
