my friend has a huge hill in his backyard, and we're gonna work hard building a biiigg park for when i cant go to the local resort (which isnt that good anyways)

so its real steep, and like a bowl almost, so theres room for tons of different jumps and rails. we're thinking of building about a 10-15 foot long tabletop, does anyone have any suggestions on how we can bring the snow to this area to make it? thanks

 
snowplow on a 4wheeler, thats about it, and make it like 30 dont go pansy style

go to the local ice rink in with a pick up and take all the zamboni snow, its good to use as a base of the jump

 
yeah, until the steel edges of your skis hit the aluminum, and stick. i like teh 4wheeler snowplow idea, but just build the take off, have a 15 foot gap and t;hen build the landing 30 feet from the takeoff. saves snow, adn you still have some deck to case on

i have been known to slide down mountains on occasion, like every saturday and sunday november through may
 
use hay bails for the base of the jump. but pour water in them so the freeze and dont break apart much. then put snow on top picknic table gap and same ramp at the end.

for some rails an easy setup is using some PVC pipe, slides real nice and I dont think ive ever caught an edge on it before....

Ice rinks definetely got lots of snow left over from hockey games. Sucks here in VT. Wheres all our God Damn snow! Sometimes, I hate the east Coast, like now for instance.

OK i made a rail out of PVC and im not too damn happy with it... it slides so slow. i mean its ok but its hard to try to learn new tricks on it because plain PVC slides so slow and you lose all of your speed right away

 
^ are you sure? PVC slides extremly fast normally.... If you make PVC rails, don't use them when its below 10 farenheit. they will shatter, its happened to me twice

no its not a problem of not having the snow, its how i can have 2 people gather all that snow in one area... i love that idea of hay bales, thanks man. or i could try that gap thing, i like the hay bales most though... rails i'm using steel and aluminum, we've got one aluminum that is obsurdly smooth, we grinded it down...

i'm thinking of charging a like 5 dollar admitance fee to get in so that people around here can git in, and my friend can make sum money for ski camp..

Soccer goals.....the crossbar is perfect.....we did it at our school last year and it was teh sickest/scariest rail ive ever done it was insane....u could maybe score an old goal frame from like a school or something

 
dude, weve made so much shit for our peark in my friends back yard.

He has a steep hill that runs out on to a lake, and when the thing ices over, we build jumps off of the 1st section of the dock (only one left in)

we also have a 30 ft 4 ft tall straight rail, a 32 foot rollercoaster box that starts at 2.5 feet, peaks at 4, and goes back to 2.5 (lowest point is at 1 foot)

We also have a flat down 20 ft rail, a step up rail, and a 4 ft tall 10 ft long flat box for spinning on to.

Is there an ociffer problem?

thats my log rail. i sanded it down and gave it a light coat of polyurathane so it wont rot with no bark on it.

just take pipes and screw them on to a wood frame or you cna use bed rails with are long angel irons or go to home depot and look around for diffrent metal things i see many thinks that will work and i might gewt soem some day
