any one got tips for making the backyard in to a sweet place to practice, like easyer ways to build up an inramp or some good setups to do

when your mom makes you shovel your driveway shovel it all into one place. If you have an old swingset take some plywood and build it off that. Or an old slide would work well. Hay bails can work too.

heres mine:

ive got a 20 foot c rail in my back yard and a 16 foot straight rail and we have a little hill but we also built a ramp on the top of it

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Remember, theres no such thing as bad snow! just shitty skiers!

you can use particle board for in ramps if you wanna make them stay longer, they are really cheap, but remember to put snow on them. in my backyard we put a huge piece of particle ramped onto the picnic table and a rail after it and covered it all with snow. just try to be creative and use what you have.

Yah I've got a 14ft. downslope in my back yard I built in shop.....to bad I'm horendous at rails.

better to burn out...

...then fade away

heres ours...

if you dont have enough snow around you can use anything you can find to build up the ramps, if you arnt one of those moraly challanged construction sites produce lots of nice material ;)

this jump and wallride look nice

my backyard park isn't in my backyard but it rocks

we have 2 bycicle rack 1 kinked rail 3 10 foot box that we put toghether to put in different setup, a wallride and that's it for the moment...when I'll take the picture of it soon i'll put it in the foto section

me and my friend built a start ramp 5 feet high with a 3 foot deck and a 5 foot down. its steep as hell and you get nice ass speed. all we have it goin to now is a hommade 15 foot table. ill post a pic if i get ne. but we built the ramp outve wood that we got around the house. about 120 feet of 2X4's. its sturdy as hell. and it took about 1 1/2 days to make.

Man I need to get some pictures of mine. I was bored one day so I spent the whole day perfectly carving out my ramp and the in run. Then I raked it so it looked groomed. Yeah I didn't go skiing that day because I got to our house in Tahoe at 2-3.

if you dont have a hill for an inramp or anything like that you can pile up some wood or logs for structure, then put snow on top, and make sure its down pat. Then you use the snow to carve out how you want it to be.

fuck that shit. If it snows enough here in Washington to make a backyard setup, it's almost not worth it cause it'll all be gone the next freakin day. So what me and my friends do is we go around the neighborhood urban style and try to do as much crazy stuff as we can before the snows gone. :D

damned TWO PLANKERS

YOu can go to a steel yard and purchase a peice of 'HSS tubing' you can order it in 24' lengths and 2x4 2x3 sizes or whatever then you can paint it and it slides like butter, i know I use to work in a steel yard.

i think im gonna somehow get an s rail... or a rainbow rail... where would i find one....

you probably will have to make it you'r self by bending a straight pole, it won't be easy but there has been some posts of kids who made thier own...im sure if you have time you'll find it

my friend had a quarter pipe (like 4 feet tall made of plywood) and we snowblowed his whole yard so we could use that just to get enough speed for a wooden rail that we had made. oh yeah, the wooden rail was a ton of fun

^holy shit man thats awesome! nice rail man! holy shit I wish I had that in my backyard

Heres my setup pretty basic, the down rail comes off from the flat section so its easier to transport
