Backyard jib in PDX this summer, whos in?

a bunch or nsers on here have quite a good set up at a friends house. Maybe you could come. Check out jakereilly videos

 
wheres there location at in portland?

cause we could

1.combine forces and make one sick as hell summer jib spot or

2. have theres and we can make one too up in the west hills here and have two summer jib spots

i'm down for either i just want some of us local pdx folks to have a "private" kick ass jib spot around town cause more than anything i need/want to work on my rail skills!
 
it would be sick tho if we had more people i think, its not at my house tho so its not my call. but ya check the video under the account jakereilly.
 
thanks for the input guys. to 503skihood, not to hate but i watched that vid and that setup looked sweet but the run in seemed like it had no speed, me and skyler28 have the idea that we are gonna steal a slide from like a park/yard and use that as the run in. my experience with the green turf is that it eats all your speed like crazy so i use it im my early season setup but only for the landing. any other ideas would be greatly appreciated. my mom lives right by forest hieghts so maybe we could combine forces and have huge rail sessions this summer.

how old are the guys in that vid?
 
thats awesome! i work right at Barnes and Miller road so i'm just right down the street from ya, i know where i'm gonna be everynite after work!! and ya idk what everyone else was thinkin but like i was saying i'm down to combine forces up here in the west hills and just have one bad ass jib spot for summer!!

so this jake kid is he the one that allready has a jib spot somewhere in portland, i guess i missed that exactly?
 
i cant belive there are not more people responding, i would think every ns'er in pdx would want in on this
 
the people in the video range from 13-17, but way more people use it. and it gives perfect amount of speed. there is no reason to be going fast on a backyard rail.
 
ok so i went down to my parents place this weekend and basically if we need more rails and boxes i can make it happen, i have plenty of PVC pipe to make some rails and plenty of spare wood around( ha thats what she said) to make the frames for em, so heres my question....

once this thing takes off more and we have space to put things what would everyone want to ride?

i'm pretty sure i could make some smaller flat rails, some down flats, and just like somemore basic set ups. what would everyone want to ride more? just flat rails? down flats? throw me some ideas out there and in a couple of weeks i'll go back down and start making some to bring up!
 
to 503skihood. by any chance does your school have a slide that could be easily stolen? or do you know of any schools that it would be easy to jack a slide from? right now im thinkin terra linda just cuz i live less than a mile away, but i kinda wanna steal something from far away so it will be less sketchy when we are usin it
 
im in for sure if we get this going. i would be glad to help build rails and shit. if you post this in the ski gabber thread youll get more posts probably.
 
yo. me and skyler got some pretty good ideas goin. wher you live at in pdx? if this shit was in SG or NSG you know a million little homos would bitch about it not being in regionals
 
ya man were all pretty close

here within the next week or two we all need to meet up somewhere round

here and talk about what everyone can bring to the table,transportation of materials and anything else we need to cover.

and skyler, my black ass is still at school so cant make it up anytime soon to meet up and talk about our shizni. im comin back home on june 11th. im so fuckin excited for this shit though
 
its gotta be 200 at least... better than any rail at meadows no doubt haha

i have a lip and carpet as well
 
dude if you want we could just meet up once you get, and meet with anyone/everyone else so we can go check out the spot and everything all at the same time, i'd be down to just do that then cause the fusion pass will be over and we'll be in NEED of some jib spot!
