Backpacks

I'm looking to get a backpack for my two week trip in europe and also for 2-3 day hiking/camping trips. I don't want to get anything too big or expensive.

im pretty sure this isnt that bag your looking for but if it is, the oakley icon bag is sick. ive had mine for 6 years. i use it for school

its got all the hiking straps and such on it, but its not one of those hardcore hiking bags.

i think the marmot eiger looks like a sweet pack. backcountry.com or sierratradingpost.com are probably your best bets

If you live in Canada, then get a MEC bag, I've had mine four three years now and its still working fine after a few trips/ it wasn't too pricey either, like $100. or I think MEC rents them too...

NOICEEEEE

i won a free dakine one and it's pretty legit, idk the model but it's camo and holds some water and has a thing that clips on in the from to hold yer skis or board or skates or whatever

okay you probably know this already, but dont buy an oakley pack or any ski company for that matter. Yes I like to support the industry, but not when it comes to thing they don't make haha. Make sure you get an internal frame pack for travel, you could check kelty, jansport, and other cheaper brands. If you don't want to spend a lot stay away from teh top end lines because they run like $300 and up. Check out campmor.com (i used to work there), sierratradingpost.com, and backcountry.com. On backcountry right now there is an ALPS pack for like 110 that would defintiely work for you

So far Dakine has been one of the only brands whose packs haven't broken on me. I love em, but they may not work if you're looking for a big pack. In that case, I have a Jansport that I took backpacking and it held up well. Years of use out of that and it wasn't too expensive either.

oooo i just got back from a week long hiking expedition in the arctic.

i used this, and it was perfect
