Backpacks for laptops

Hey

I'm looking for a backpack (bookbag) that can hold a 15inch laptop and hold a text book or two besides that. And most backpacks I see have so much crap hanging off of them and a lot of pockets, I hate that. Does anyone know if a bookbag with no pockets on the front or side and just a flap to open to the main compartment? And I don't want to spend too much on it, looking in the $0.01-$50.00 range. Thanks

omg! the legendary thread maker!!!

well, id check out llbean or something, or get one of the "over the shoulder" strap bags with the one big flap...

yeah the oakley icon is a great pack w/a laptop compartment. i got mine from sac not too long ago for like $40 or so...

i bought a burton one at the local zumiez for 40$ got two small pockets on the front. with two straps so u can hold ur skis even. but its got a sleeve that can hold (says a 12" laptop) but im sure it could expand to a 15" laptop. i could find the name out if u want just pm me.

Cool thanks for the suggestions. I have a heli pack and it's small as hell. I can get my laptop in it and that's it.

Have a look at DaKine's site - they tell you which packs have a laptop sleeve in them. I got a really nice one I use for college but I forget the name.

Me also! And it was 15 bucks or something and is pretty effing sick. Pretty much the perfect size for laptop and some books Has a fleecy lined pocket for glasses or cds and has no extra straps and shit hanging off of it.

i got a dakine duel backpack. it's perfect. nice laptop pocket, internal pocket, a few outside pockets, nothing too crazy. i got mine on sac for like 25 bucks or so. great deal

I just an Ogio Nyquist and I love it. Holds my 15in powerbook in a specific laptop pocket. Its dope, you access it from the side of the bag so its easy to get in and out. It also has room for a couple notebooks, a sketch pad and some art books. Nice and paddy too, plus extra soft pockets for your phone, iPod, piece, whatever floats your boat. Check out the entire Ogio laptopline right herr: http://www.ogio.com/products.php?category=41
