Backpack for fat skis

was thinking of getting a deuter freerider, but i found out the straps arent wide enough to hold fatties (like pistols) in an a-frame.

anyone have suggestions on what packs have a mount that is neither a-frame or verticle snowboard?

My Dakine fits my explosives, so like everybody else said, go dakine.

I have an awsome Mountain Equipment Co. backpack that I find better than my old DaKine pack for BC. Its really good and carries one ski on each of its sides so its evenly balanced and its not right on the back like diagonal ones so if you need to get to some compartments its super easy and quick.

I think on the front of the pack, in an X, so the tails aren't near your legs would be pretty good. Kind of the double diagonal.

It's the batontwirlertwistshakebakecakeholehumperdinkkink rail.
