Backpack capacity

Looking for a backpack to haul my gear around this season. Not to serious mostly inbounds forrest stuff, maybe a little cat skiing. Debating between a 11L and 16L back pack. I will be carrying gopro and pole, snacks, extra layers, and extra gloves. Which would you pick between these two for the amount of things it can cary and how much it sticks out(lifts).

(Sorry if this thread was already made. I checked and couldn't find anything.)
 
i have the heli pro from some year. I dont know exaclty what its classifeid under but it fits alot of shit ive carried pants sweatshirts, protien powder container, gloves, goggles, ETC. It was bulky as hell but got the job done.(DID NOT TAKE ON LIFT)

HOnestly for what your taking on the lift you should be fine with the heli pro.

Since i dont know where you live. Id reccomend going to EMS or local shop with all of the stuff put in a bag and see what it looks like yourself for an idea.

If you can get the smaller one, do it. Worth having less bag to carry, makes it easier to ski with on and also lighter for when your hiking
 
I'd go 16. I've CRAMMED my 11l before and while it was nice and light, it was a tad bit awkward. For the stuff you want a 11l would be fine but I'd size up just in case you want/need to carry something extra and they aren't too much heavier anyway. I'll post a pic of my 11l sitting next to me 16l

Yay the pic turned out good. Also the green one is the 16l, black is 11l. Pretty much the same size but the 16l has 2 big pockets and the 11l only has 1
 
If the only difference in volume, is becasue of the pockets, you may as well get the 16. It wont be any more / less bulky when its not full.
