That's right folks, we've finally done it! A pre-season jam session with all your buddies, wether they ski or board!
We've been working really hard on this and we hope its a huge success, so that we can continue it for years to come.

There will be tons of prizes given away during the jam, courtesy of our sponsors; Surface Skis, Capita Snowboards, Red Bull, Momentum Ski Camp, napKING, 32, Dragon Optics, Walrus Clothing, Union Bindings, and Newschoolers.com! (We're also working on a few more so keep checking back!)

Red Bull will be out in full force sampling ice-cold Redbull for both the participants and the crowd, along with their event vehicle Sugga; a converted army truck featuring 4 flat screen TV's, a DJ booth and sound system.

Pro riders from both skiing and boarding will be present as well, thanks to Poorboyz Productions (Leigh Powis, Dane Tudor so far confirmed), Surface Skis (Our very own Liam Casey!) and Capita snowboards (they haven't told us yet).

Surface will also be there with all their leftover 08/09 stock, as well as giving everyone there (riders and spectators) the opportunity to sign up for their group buy with 35% off their 09/10 skis, with free poles and T-shirt with every purchase!

We encourage everyone to come on over and check it out, its sure to be a blast!
 
should set up a diving board session afterwards, be sick to huck some tricks in the air and it is just right next door...
 
what is the set up will it be sunny is the red bull going to be free can snowboaders hit it is ther going to be a comp or just a jam if so for a comp can snoeboarers hit it and compete is there going to be agnarly drop in how many ppeople do think will there be will people be filmiing im bored at home cant do homework

Hmmmm. I go to UBC and I harass them to open up the diving boards up every now and then. And what they told me is that during October-March they generally use the deep end for lane swimming cause the other lanes get too busy. And that they only really open the boards from 1-2:30 IF someone asks them. But that being said, maybe if a big group in their you could get them to do otherwise.

Regardless, the varsity team train there from 5:30 to 7:30 I think, so you'd have to wait until like 7:30 then
