Backflips vs corks?

on tramps, diving boards and other shit i can do pretty much every rotation except back flip until recently. It was the same for me on skis. b-flip comes naturally to some and its alot harder for others

if i can backflip on tramps and diving boards easily, do i just need the balls to do it for skiing, or is it harder to land because your going more horizontal where as on a tramp you go almost straight up and flip?

getting enough rotation is easy its just the over/under rotation that is tricky-its all about spotting your landing-i personally think that backs are pointless other than as a learning tool to get used to being inverted

Although I am not good enough to do either (hope lingers on the horizon), people are telling me that you should learn backflips before going cork. Is this true and how hard are they (backflips/cork)

Ya because you’ll feel more comfortable being somewhat upside down.
