anyone kknow the secret to doing backflips of shit like stonewalls and things? i can do like everything on the tramp backflips corks EVERYTHING. is there a secret, or am i jsut being a pussy

this kid at my school can do them off everything. we have a morning feature everyday and one was solely dedicated to his greatness. mucho respect

yeah thats what everyone is telling me, should i jsu go for it and hope for the best, or what can i do to practice

first practice with a pad on the ground so when you fall on your head the first time it'll be on something softer than concrete

COMMIT. thats my problem, is i have a hard time commiting.

practice on soft stuff first or in a pool so you dont kill yourself if you bail

you need to make sure you can get the rotation, then its all about commiting. as long as you land on your feet its all good.

You pretty much just gotta go for it, and whatever you do, dont puss out and open up onto your head. try it off a picnic table onto grass first for sure.

try a tree flip first and the whole time leave your arms extended and be ready to support yourself if you don''t make it. first time i tried i overratated and smashed my back and head on some roots, second time i under rotated and landed on my hands thankfully. third time= cash money

DO NOT JUST TRY IT OFF ANYTHING. hahahha, you may just possibly die.. Go to a gymnastics gym that has a drop-in time slot for anyone who wants to fuck around on the mats and tramps and foam pits. And learn all you need to there, it shouldn't take long.

^man don't listen to that guy hes just a pussy i learned to do them off of garbage cans you just have to commit to it and think of jumping up instead of out that way you don't hurt yourself

the first time i did them it was off of a retaining wall maybe 4 feet into snow, i landed on my stomach though. just go up rather than back, because as long as you clear the surface your jumping off of you fine, and up=more airtime

do it either on a beach or on grass. You really just need to commit and know that you can do the flip. but trust me, ull have ur close calls... i sure have.

yeah start on mats and then work your way to a grassy knolle or something thats how i did. work on getting your pop bigger and make it straight up!

i can do one standing on flat ground. but i was also a national gymnast. but regardless. the same principles apply.

you want to make sure you dont under rotate and you dont over rotate. the best way to assess this is to 'set' before you rotate. meaning you kind of almost jump straight up before you huck back.

once you set you will be able to feel how much you should be hucking and tucking and so on.

so when u begin, bend your kneeds, keep your arms down, then jump straight up lifting your arms, pushing back a little and tucking in a bit.

the more u tuck the more rotation you will get.

go to www.trickstutorials.com ask there or jus look at the tutorials they will show u many ways to help u get over the fear

personally i did this

u wear a belt and have 2 friends stand next to u on either side holding the belt and u "backflip" while they help u flip over so u get over the fear then they jus gradually help u less

and u better have good form, cuz on a tramp its different cuz u have air time

like i said

i can b-flip off of nething or just standing still but wall flips get the girls running up a wall then doing b-flip is so hott right now

haha yeah i did one at my school formal and under rotated and broke my foot, i still managed to make the afterparty tho! :)

i can do em off everything. its mad easy u just gotta look over ur sholder and wach ur landing liek on a tramp if ur doing it off stuff. and if ur doing it off the ground just go straight back with ur head and fuly commit. its way eaiser than u think. try running jumping doing a 180 and thne popping a backi with ur momentum. its mad easy
