Backflips Banned!

almost all mountains do not allow inverted tricks, they just say that so that it becomes less likely for you to sue them.

My home moutain mt hood meadows doesnt allow inverted tricks but....jon ollson was throwing down kangroos so i dont think that rule means anything

you think THATS bad? we were just fricken messin around on tehis one jump on liftline that was there from preseason and it actually had abit of a nice pow landing. first hit 3d it. second hit 3 with iron cross. then i was planning on goign 540 then backflip next runs. cuz i hadnt done backflips since last yr. then were goin up the lift and underneathe us the ski patrolleres are kicking out jump and breaking it!! my friend was like what the fuck are you doing?!!!?!?!? and there all like no building jumps on the trails!!

so yeaaaaa it sucked. and we dont have anyjumps up yet. only gay rails and boxes.

Keep in mind that Colorado is a lot better off, legally, because the ski industry is such a vital industry for the state. Lawmakers are willing to protect Colorado ski resorts because the ski industry is big enough to make a difference in politics, but in most states it is not. Even if every single skier in New Jersey wrote their lawmaker, that's still probably not a big enough group to make a difference.

Also, to a large extent, the invert bans are "empty threats". The ski area probably does not care too much what you do, but they just want to be protected from potential lawsuits. When I used to ski at Bridger Bowl inverts were banned, but no matter how many times we got warned for doing them, we never actually got our passes pulled. After all, ski patrollers are usually pretty avid skiers and don't like policing any more than you like being policed.

yearsssss ago me and a friend tried frontflips for the first time...the invert attempts by either of us for the most part. so the one time we try them a ski patrol is waiting for us at the bottom and asks us to not do them and kicked us off the hill for the day. but the next season apparently something changed and we were allowed to do anything and it was all good.

Yeah, all mountains that have parks forbid flips. But, I have connections and I can flip when I want while obaying the rules

my home hill in wisconsin used to have inverts banned but in the last year or 2 they changed it to inverts are not recommened which is pretty baller for a little ass resort in wisconsin...

ok i did backflip it. and u kno u wouldnt have. we wouldve been there all day waitin. but ya that was pretty gay. ski patrol can suck my big black cock black as the night

yeah that is what its always been like at my resort but we all know skiers and no one will stop us from progressing so just be smarter and look for their bright ass coats and if worse comes to worse run because we all know how slow they are and everyone knows secret trails and shit through the woods and shit

inverts have never been allowed at my mountain but as long as you are in control and have a sense of what youre doing they usually just tell you to be careful

it the same at me mountain. just make sure the patrol isnt around and if you get hurt than make up a story like you were have sex wit your friends up in a tree and you fell out

they do that at most mountains...if you are on a team though and with your coach you are either allowed to do it or they just look the other way because I do em all the time and never get in trouble...

liability, they don't want to be sued. but there is really no way to enforce it, unless they pull everyone's passes that do them

i got bitched at for doing a underflip 3 years ago (it was a mistake) but it was sweet and the ski patrol killed my buzz hardcore by raising their voice at me for doing "stunts that arent allowed"

wow that is one of the lamest things ever

i have seen signs that say "not reccomended" but never not aloud, and thats a lot of resorts ive gone to.

thats because in france, people actually take responsibility for their own actions rather than file a law suit.

my place sucks mad dick with skiers/boarders that if they even see someone doing a backflip they get like a free season pass.. basically claimed as a God.

your wrong. and i do them all the time. therefore im better at them. and i dont need pow for them either. ill cut u

most every park i ride has the big red sign "no inverted ariels" but today i taight a ski patroller how to throw cork 5 in the pipe, and we were definately upside down. mind you he was off duty.

ive never been caught, but i got called out for throwning cork one day. wasent pleased
