well, backflips on skis are obviosly bigger and flotier, and the thought of actually being upside down is scary at first, but if you commit they are quite easy. and also you take off on an upwards angle (the jump) and land on a downwards angle (the landing) so you dont even really do a full rotation. other than that i suggest trying backflips on a tramp while wearing ankle weights. it sounds stupid, but gets you used to the added wieght on your feet. TRY IT IN POWDER FIRST!!

backflips on skis are like straight airs. after you hae landed one, you wil never fall again on one. and they are straight over

its always better to over rotate than under rotate on backflips. the first few i tried on snow i ate it so hard, like to my stomach. so throw hard, but pop first

^ yeah people still forget to pop and all the basic shit

when the man has to take a piss he finds a bush. When a bush has to get some food it takes from the piss soaked soil around the bush, when man needs food he takes the bush and cooks that shit up. So if you think about it - all we do is eat our own piss.-Mike_hunt10

if it were easier it would be called snowboarding

yeah the second time i tried backflips i hit my head on the jump and took a chunk out. i thought it was pretty amazing

if carrots got you drunk, rabbits would be fucked up

On my first backflip attempt, I landed flat on my chest. Knocked the wind out of me for a few seconds, but i hiked up, hucked it a bit harder and stuck it. Two days after that I stuck one off a 50 footer. It is scary though, and you have to get used to it. But, compared to a tramp, you have to huck a bit harder on skis.

if you can do a gainer on a tramp, you can do a backflip, they're easier than 360s, just go out and do it

backflips are scary if you do them big. I still think they aren't just mindless and I do them all the time.

Ever heard of Shane Anderson? underrotating is damn near imposible once you see the land ing you know what to do Tuck slow down whatevevs but you DO NOT WANT TO OVEr ROTATE death

make sure for your first one its off a jump you dont have to sling the flip. Just dont panic in the air and youll be fine

i did 12 str8 backflips and flew way off the tramp on number 13 my friend said hed gimme 5 bucks for everyone i did after the tenth. anywho make some trmpoline skis just buy a long cardboard box trace ur skis onto it then cut 4 exact cardboard replicas out of the carboard. then cut a gouge most of the way down the middle of the skis put a 1 1/2" wide 1/16" peice of flexy metal into this slot glue the shit outta it and tape ur ski boots to em and they work great. they wont rip ur tramp if you mess up but only feel like a real noodly ski when ur trickin. and it adds more weight and realistic forces to trampin that would be found in skiin. and it makes everything you do look wayyyy cool ill post pics of me makin mine after i make my new ones message me if ya got questions, them shits are HOT!

i can do a back flip off my jet ski into the water ... do u think i should try it on skis this year in the snow?

fisrt time i did it, my tips caught, diddnt hurt at all thouhgt, got up and tried again. I over rotated once and it hurt a lot.

yeah, i went there

man, they're so fucking easy. if you can throw big ones on a tramp, and lay them out, you're fine for skis. Just get a nice sized hit with a little pow in the landing for reassurance, make the lip nice and poppy too, then just cruise into that bitch with a lot of speed, pop and throw it exactly how you do on the tramp, it will come around like nothing unless you freak out for some stupid reason. I landed my first try then continued to stick them bigger and bigger. don't be scared, they're just like straight airs

don't take me for a joke, i'm no comedian. too many mental problems got me snortin' coke and smokin' weed again.

backs r so much easier on skis, u just gotta make sure u have the commitment, otherwise u have much more air time and the trajectory of the jump helps a bunch, the only problem i sometimes encounter is overroating and that is usually of cliffs and shit, just need to get that dialed
