Backflip off rail

My friend did a 180 to a backflip off a box one time... well it was more of a huck himself onto the box, lose balance, then do a backward roll onto neck and back onto skis. But he likes do call it a 180 backflip off.

that was sick!

wow these guys are pussies. 1 footers and flips off rails? these guys suck and if you think otherwise you should call me at 217-725-2022 217-725-2022. suck it. if any of tight pant ***s were to come to mt high i would beat their asses.

real nice but i do have a question, why are the stances so narrow, im mean they look really narrow. ive seen some people do it but it seems like everyone in that edit had a narrow stance. like 2 years ago everyone was drilling holes to have a wider stance or have a normal stance but now its just really narrow i was just wondering if it allows boarders to spin quicker or something along those lines. could someone enlighten me

the tighter the stance the more u can huck yourself and spin but i think its stupid cause having a wide stance is steezy as fuck

It's all preference. Anybody who has a wide stance for looks should be fucking murdered. I have my stance maxed out on every board because I'm tall and I love the control of the whole board. When your feet are in the center it's just not a natural feeling at least for me. With my stance maxed out the board is just an extension of my feet I move and the board moves, So much more control. I remember back in the day shops were putting peoples bindings on with the stance in the center and pointed all weird. Those people should be fired. Trying to teach kids how to ride with their feet ridiculously centered. They move their feet and the board kinda wiggles. It's retarded, you have no control

There was a video of a boarder doing a backflip on 180 off on a down rail. Shit blew my mind

yeah it helps you spin alot quicker, it makes the board alot more nimble, but it's also alot less stable. i'm not thug or gypsy, but i used to rock my stance all the way out. this year my friend who rides for burton /claim, brought his stance in really narrow and told me to try it. i only brought mine in by one notch on each side. it didn't really do that much for jumps, but it's alot easier on your knees and it helped out my rail game soo much. once i brought my stance in i got 270's onto down rails, etc. alot of stuff that my wide stance had held me back from a little bit.
