backflip jumps

I think most people here learned on Chads gap.

That's pretty much the standard jump you want to learn on.

wow you guys are asses. just give this kid a simple straight answer. for me, it was probably a 10 footer onto ice, in which i landed on my head. but my second try i almost stuck it on a 20 footer into lots of pow. i'd say go at least 20 foot jump. as far as height, i dunno, just get enough to pull around the rotation.

my friends were pulling backflips with 4 feet of air and a flat landing at a-basin today

(not a recommended learning setup)

No, you're cool because you use an 8 in your name.

And you can do a backflip with a 1 foot high tombstone jump.

All you need is a jump with tons of wu.

and youre trying to be cool as a paintball player...

as for your question, the ideal learning zone is a 20 ft BC booter into pow. otherwise, try something at least 10ft that your comfy spinning on...you'll probably fall the first try, so be ready for it...but most people stick it the 2nd time through...

otherwise, set up a water ramp if you live near a lake or pool, and do it that way.

what like a 20 ft table or somethin'? man first time tricks are terrifying. when you're in the air, it feels pretty dope, but the when you're boosting down the inrun, you get that crazy rush of adrenaline... but when you land that shit for the first time, wow you feel 1337
