Backcountry SLC and JacksonHole

Hi, I´m from Germany and we are from 26 January till 9 Februar in SLC and JacksonHole. I´ve heard there are some local guide in the skiareas. How do I find out the best spots for backcountry rides. And what about the avalanche Situation. Is there a daily report in the Skiresorts showing?

we don´t wanna make a backcountry tour. Just looking for some good spots for Freeriding where you can get by the ski lifts. If I´ve to hike half an hour it´s ok too.

the problem is not to get down, rather than to get back to the lift station

^if hes from europe im sure he understands that he can die at anytime in the mountains, were not talking about some kid from new jersey wanting to emulate andy mahre on pyramid.

I know about the risks, I did last year an avalanche camp and in the alps i mostly go off pist and hike anywhere to find a good freeride spot...
