Backcountry Skiing in Quebec

Wanting to do some touring in Quebec this year. I have a couple of questions to ask.

1. To get to the Chic Chocs where is the closest place to fly in to? Also how far would it be?

2. Any good guides that I should contact?

3. Where else should I check out?

Quebec City is probably the best bet to fly into. 4-5 hour drive from there.

Also the north shore past Massif apparently has some sick backcountry with tons of snow.

and don't be fooled by it being east coast, bring avy gear.

also if you're looking to stay in the ski-in cabins in Gaspe either book ahead or have a backup plan, they fill up fast.

I'm not sure if this is remotely legal, but the waterfall outside of Quebec city has this open face right next to it:

I visited in the summer and all I could think about was how awesome it would be to hit on skis.

Check out Stoneham it's around 30-45 minutes from Quebec city and apparently there is some good snow if you go touring around
