its the speed of the camera. when you freefall you pick up speed making the gaps bigger.

what are you putting your Sequences together with. If you are using Photoshop I will show you a better way to put them together. If you are not using PS, you should start.

Translucent images look soft. You can do this in Layers without having them look soft like this.
