Hey that second question was a tad confusing, the “save avy/first aid” is a bit weird since that was my first purchase, then additional gear like crampons etc. I’d prefer to say avy fewr, first aid, titanstraps, crampons, etc.

What is a "gear/repair" kit for backcountry skiing? The question that asks what the maximum to spend would be ($50 to $200) makes no sense. No backcountry ski kit is going to be less than $200, let alone $50.

I assume he means stuff you specifically bring for making repairs. So voile straps, duct tape, some wire or whatever.
